was thinking about that croc leather this morning but cant think of what to make from it.

So I take it you have Physio a few times a week, at least they have sort of found it
unlike me. Mine is a mistake from the first OP.
Was talking to a mate last week about another guy we know with a crook back,
was in pain for years after an op all they said was toughen up, 3 years later they retrieved
a 6" pair if scissors, believe it or not that is not medical negligence,, now that sucks big ones, go figure
was not allowed to keep them either

It's called and "Upslip" injury which caused my hip and lower back to be out of alignment and compress the muscle and nerves which is causing all the spasms and pinching etc without actually compressing the nerves itself.

No short term recovery of it though, long time still to go before anything improves,"if" it improves at all.

Basically need to retrain the muscle and bone structure for it to realign itself and hopefully reduce the symptoms. Then they can work on the disc issues.

Have got a few ideas running around the old noggin at the moment for some sheathes which will include using the croc print leather I have.
I wonder if I was to build a medieval style rack and stretched you out on it, it would help?

@3D, That Lansky system I have will work a treat, as long as it can clamp on to the blade and it can clamp on to some fairly small blades. I may have to order that plans for that grinder too!

How about this for the Croc skin?

How can leaving a 6" pair of scissors inside a patient NOT be medical misadventure?

My rainbow scale skinner/gut hook and Black Columbia arrived.
they sent rainbow job as they had no stock of the one I brought
the black knife not to bad at all,, ,,got a bit of weight about it.
Plus a nice size as well. Now waiting on three more skinners
another bone scaled like in picture but has a gut hook,
plus a stag horn skinner and the Buck Vanguard one.
The skinners will present well together I reckon.

Not a bad shop, nice folder too

@ Alitis for log splitting go the x28 which is 36" handle
    I have X25 , X17 and X7, make me an offer on the X7

@ OD don't you get lifetime warranty on Fiskar gear, shouldn't do that just chopping wood
I don't like the X7 too light IMO would rather use my Plumb tomahawk

Might be worth a read on survival knives

@ OD try this limited lifetime warranty
They are too light IMO, I've only used mine a few times.
Anyone who picks it up says the same thing,

The X15 with the saw would be better value I reckon
@ Alitis you'd be better off paying $65 for this

@ OD again these would display your Robin Hood gear well
