The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

One of my safety flags is "Mine Spec" and is attached to the tray head board behind the Cabin like 1,000,000 or more other complliant vehicles in Aus.

The other is a fibreglass whip purely for wank factor and attaches to the bull bar at 3.8 metres or head board if I want it over 5 metres high.
Dolphins are so smart that within a few weeks of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish.

well after finding heaps of things wrong with the patrol its finally ready for the trip, FAAARK it cost a small fortune but its all set now to go and nothing should go wrong, i think the previous owners (dept fisheries) did a lot more damage than i thought they would have, apparently all the bolts are seized in due to salt water ingestion. looks like when i get back i will have to give it another clean down and another liberal coating of rust converter and fish oil.
    2003 gu3 td42tdi sold 😞 bloody gvm towing crap. Bt50 3500kg gvm.

It will be very nicely and conveniently sand blasted fully underneath when you return! Perfect time for Fish Oil!
