Hey guys.
When I turn the engine off it does not shut down straight away, it runs for about 1-2 seconds then splutters and stops. It's on my zd30 Di. Any ideas what it could be?

Bump......
I know from experience that this is caused by the fuel shut off solenoid valve sticking..
But unsure if this would be the same with the 3ltrs

No not really, just take the IC off, a couple vacuum hoses and 3 12mm bolts that hold the throttle body onto the inlet manifold, I recommend replacing the gasket between the manifold and throttle body, I cleaned my throttle body with degreaser and a bottle brush, wear gloves as it can be a very messy job

My 2006 42TD does that on occasion now i know why
Mine has done it only once before. Cos of turbo timer, I leave the car sometimes before engine stops. Like going to shops, and came out after about 10 mins and the car still running with the keys in my hand.
Sorry Matt, wasn't meant to quote you, by the way he made 25. Lol
