Should find out more tomorrow but might be locker damage or diff
Still all good fun this might empty the wallet though not the best when out of work
if you are in 2wd properly then there should be No Noise from the auto Hubs. If your driving around and the front Hubs have not disengaged then that will not be great and they will be noisy as your getting front wind up. Not ideal.

Go for a good drive in reverse mate. 10 or 20m and see if you can disengage them.

For the rear check under the car and see that the Swag bar links are in place and you have not broken one. You will instantly see if there is external damage. The front spring will only take you to jack the car up by the chassis to lift the front and extend the spring until it lets go then grab it with your hands and spin it back into place. It will cost you nothing and take 2 minutes.

    Good luck mate

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
