Was a good morning shame I had to leave so early, we will have to do another one soon. Aeroplane was great!

    What a great trip everyone!!!

    Red east track?

Wow, one of the hardest tracks I have been on. I hope someone got some footage but we spent an hour or two on this one long and steep climb, full of rocks and ledges.

The track had multiple chicken tracks that were actually harder then the main track so it was carnage when night set in...

Plenty of winching on the gu's but the gq's loved it...lol...apart from some damage.

Completely bent my rear panhard like a banana and my slave cylinder gave in as well as a small leak in the rear transfer where it meets the handbrake housing.

It's safe to say my old gq needs a lot of love before the Simpson.

Aeroplane track was absolutely ridiculous! Slippery as ice and deep hole half way up that was not possible to get over, more winching!

Bloody yota..lol...I had no option gents. I was last in convoy coming back down aeroplane and slid into a washout with 3 foot of silt and a long log stuck under the car!

Would of been a nightmare for someone to come back up to help me and then I saw a yota behind me...

Tried to get the rear snatching done sneakily but then damn Lucas got his camera out...lol

Best tracks I have ever seen in that area, did not even know they existed and we are keen to go back as there is another big climb we didn't get a chance to go up today!

Time for some front and rear superior panhard I think. Used the bottle jack to straighten it up which worked great to get back home!

Thanks for a great weekend folks!!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
