All of the Y60´s in the picture have 2.8 TD We don´t need to cover the radiator. That day we had around -5° in the mountain. I have a 3 row radiator and the engine never gets to hot. It can go up the midle of the gauge if I drive it on 5000rpm in the low range for a while. But that only happens when I´m racing with someone. To do that the snow needs to be so hard that the truck hardly marks in the snow. But the most of the driving is in the first 3 gears. We cover radiator for faster heating of the engine when -20 outside.

Latest ideas. I´ve been thinking for a long time to put the truck on 44" tires. Now I´m thinking about 46" tires. I´m thinking about Mickey thompson baja claw 46/19.5-16" The rims will be 16X20" That wil give a great flotation. And it will look good on the truck. What do you guys think?

Great off road terrain! Around here it is forbidden to drive outside the road. Seems like you can drive around where ever you like
Mate, don't they say the tyre size on people's trucks is inversely proportional to the nut size
.
I think it will pretty good but do the tyres come with a free step ladder to into the car with or are they that chunky you can climb up the lugs.

You'll be impressed with the 4.2 motor Gisli. Especially coming from the 2.8 it will be so much better and more powerful with the right work done to it.
I'd love a patrol with 46 inch tyres =)
