looks like the floor would be crimped also ?
the one thing wrong with middle age ...is knowing you will grow out of it !
How much would I be looking at for a replacement sil? and where would I begin looking around brisbane?
I know how to weld..
Mate I'd be trying to weld on the slide hammer if that fails then try the pop rivets and if all fails cut it out and weld in.
Skid,
You can get the sill from a wreckers .....if you tell them where from and where too, they will cut you out a piece..... if you do this, get it from the door jamb seam, to the underneath seam, to try and join it at the factory joins
Just be aware, it is a fair job to cut and reweld ... not for the faint hearted, but if you have plenty of time have a go....

Yours is a fair bit worse old mate, for starters the damage has effected the lower area of your B pillar, keep in mind, looking at the pics from the other thread, im pretty sure the damaged sill has NOT been returned to its "factory" shape on the inside or the outside, like I said in my post earlier "All this also depends on what the car is worth, and how "fixed" you need it ?" so if that is as good a repair as you need, why not just follow down the same path ?

Yeah so if you have a welder then just tack weld the end of the slide hammer to the sill or if you need to give it a lot of big hits then maybe weld something to the sill and a number of spots (chain links or something) that is suitable to hook the slide hammer to and get into it. When you finished your cutting the welds off rather than trying to bog holes drilled.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Skid,
If you can beg or borrow a panel beaters slide hammer, you need to remove the paint with a wire wheel, then spot weld the blind rivet ends in all the areas where you need to pull the panel, then attached the slide hammer to the rivets, and start pulling the panel in small sections at a time.
When you are happy that you have the panel as close as possible to original, twist off the rivets, and start bogging away
Without the right tools it is all about improvising
