Rear passenger door doesn't lock or unlock - Central Locking

Hi all,

Hopefully this is in the right spot.

A Patrol I've looked at buying (a 2005 GU IV) has an issue where the rear passenger side door (2nd row, not rear barn) won't lock or unlock with the remote central locking, but it can be manually locked and unlocked.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what the problem might be, and if it's an easy fix please?

It could be the actuator unit, which would be a fairly easy swap with another unit from the wreckers, or

It may be the actuator rod - the plastic clips at the end can break, or

It may be a broken wire - need to test voltage at the actuator when the front drivers door is locked and unlocked.

PS: If you have voltage at the actuator, and it isn't working, grab another from the wreckers
