I don't use gas, I use the Coleman dual fuel stove (shellite or ULP). I have a 2 burner I use mainly around camp and a couple of the single burner ones for on the road or as extras at camp.
From recollection are about 45,000 BTU and work in cold climates where gas can be a pain in the bum.

I won a Webber mini q, use that for everything, bit bulkier than standard cooker, but cooks a damn fine roast in the middle of nowhere. Then just have a single burner butane stove for boiling the billy.
HHHmmm my missus had said she wants one of these, Might be worth it too, since that lido is around $300 mark

I have the same for the same reason. Here in the high country normal gas stoves can have problems on cold days. They also boil water much faster than a gas stove due to their higher energy output. Also for longer trips, its much easier, safer, less heavy and less bulk to carry spare fuel than it is to carry spare gas. Finally unleaded is much cheaper than gas - not a real concern - but one more advantage.
there are plenty of connectors so you can use those throw away cannisters but as mentioned useless in any altitude.
Dual fuel are good but burn out jets faster so carry spares.
Found this small hooded BBQ on hard rubbish day, once cleaned and cut down to size it should travel well

Usually when I am camping I have had a few drinks by dinner time and could see myself spilling the little bottle of flammable liquid used to preheat it and lighting myself on fire.

You don't need other fuel to pre heat a Coleman dual fuel stove.

Never had issues with burners. A mate if mine has had his over 10 years and the only thing he's done is give it a paint
The same as Bill, I use mine around the high country, so on those cold winter mornings when everyone is desperate for coffee, I'm the one with the first brew!
And it is heaps easier to carry a fuel container than a gas bottle. Bonus that I drive a petty Patrol!!!!
