What is the best gas/lpg Stove?

IN YOUR OPINION What is the best stove you have used or have in your camper or rig? It'll need to be hooked up to a 4.5kg bottle

Was looking at this but it might be a bit small

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

I have a jackaroo 3 burner kmart jobbie and never failed us for the last 6yrs owning it.

I also have 1 of the large oldschool sized coleman 3 burner but it's too big to pack in the troll.

Work out what / how much and how many ppl you need to cook for and take it from there as you mat find that gasmate 1 will be clowe to what you want it to do

I have a primus twin burner..
    http://www.anaconda.com.au/Product/C...2-Burner-Stove
25000 btu out put.. It doesn't have holes in the burners, Its layered sheets..

Boils a medium kettle in a couple of minutes.

But also ticks over slow enough for toast.
Love it, and would definitely buy another..

It also Haas run cold base. So safe to use On plastic tables. Which we do..

True. I have to feed a family of 5, we have a very cheapy one at the momment we bought from rays a few years ago, but since we are getting the new camper, we wanted a newer stove as well, i 'm waiting to hear back from GIC to get dimensions for their new fold out kitchen. That way i'll be able make sure it fits in there.

A family of 5 may find that gas mate a bit small, may need to look at a 3 burner but having said that, a camper will make things easier to pack the larger sized stoves

The primus is the width of most 3 burners. 590 long by 280 wide.

I won a Webber mini q, use that for everything, bit bulkier than standard cooker, but cooks a damn fine roast in the middle of nowhere. Then just have a single burner butane stove for boiling the billy.
