On the rocker cover of mine there is a date sticker.
near side, up-front beside filler cap.
mines 33---t in a 2002 GU,
get back to ya, as yours is 29---t.
that in theory makes yours earlier than 2002 or there abouts.

Sticker is written.
engine manufactured to comply with ADR , (etc etc),
with the month and year stamped.
and then date stamped 3/2002.
my version of fast recons my engine Number ran from 4/99 to 11/02

No sticker! So I asked the previous owner what year motor did the use on the conversion, turns out to be a 2001 engine problem solved........... Thanks robo for your help .........":icon_driving
