For $1300 you're not going to get a huge amount of good points, no matter what the car is. Reckon you'd be better off getting a cheap arsed runabout car and saving up a little dough for another 4wd. But that's just my humble opinion

common mate, this is a patrol forum, we all own patrols for the same reason so you aren't going to get to much help regarding other cars sorry! Try a 4x4 forum in general, wide range of different vehicles on them.

V6 Jackaroos are a real pain to do anything on, engine wise. Dads Jackaroo on gas has towed a 18-20 foot caravan on a 20000 k trek around Aus. The gas caused head issues. I helped strip the heads off and it was an absolute nightmare. It took almost 5 grand to repair. (New pistons, rings, honing the bores, reconditioning the heads, gasket kit, timing belt, thermostat etc, etc). Dad has stripped the gas system out and fitted a long range and aux fuel tank, ready to tow the van to WA and back. Body and suspension is still in pretty good nick.

like I said before, I honestly believe if you were to buy a cheap arsed 4by you'll probably end up having to spend a bucket load just to keep it on the road.

They are a six stud pattern, but the measurements and offset may be different. Hopefully, some one in the know, will have the answer for you.
