    The Pink Lady

The wife, kids and I just got back from visiting the mother in law and checking out the Patrol she has kindly given to us.

The mother in law acquired the car from her very good friend who sadly died of cancer not long ago. As she already has another GQ for her farm she didn't need a second.

Upon inspection of the beast I noticed a pink lady sticker I believe this is in support of finding a cure for breast cancer, hence our new camping/touring truck will be known as "The Pink Lady".

As you can see from the pics she is stock, wearing cheese cutters, but what really counts is the body is rust free and straight. The 4.2 Diesel power plant has just been ran in with 360,000 on the clock.

We should be picking the car up next week when the road worthy is done (yes the mother in law insist she gives it to us with a roady. What a lady). When we get her home there is a list of mods that will be completed as time and finances allow.

    Sorry for repeat photos.

    Welcome mate. Brilliant pick up.
List of mods look good but I'd steer you away from the body lift.
Just go a 3" lift which is quite a bit when it's fitted.. And the 3" doesn't need panhard rods. Just brake lines and breathers in addition to springs and shocks.

Have a read up in the engine and drive line section for turbo setups.
And if you dare the boys have started a 200 killer wasps thread..

    Anyway mate. Again awesome pickup.
And hopefully it supplies many fantastic trips for the Family.
    Cheers

Great deal mate, any car for nothing is a great deal but from the mil bargain. What a woman she must be, and I wholeheartedly agree the name is a great tribute to the previous owner.
    2003 gu3 td42tdi sold 😞 bloody gvm towing crap. Bt50 3500kg gvm.
