And changed the oil and filter.
Took her out on to the beach tried to get bogged in some soft sand but the patrol didn't agree bloody love it for a 3ltr crd it goes hard

If you were in one of those sluggish 4.2's you would have been bogged for sure.
The 3ltr crd really surprised me today never driven a 4.2 though
Stock td4.2 against stock TD 3lt. how far is the difference, flat road to 100kph

Took it for it's toughest outing yet. Unfortunately spiked a tyre on a rock and worse than that pierced and tore the rear bumper on a stick. See my 'wanted to buy GU rear bumper' thread I'm about to put up.
Had fun and didn't need recovering and did recover a Toyota.

Clever. But you can get rubber ones from eBay for bugga all and they wrap around the main lead..
