    LED Light Bar

    Hi guys.

So i finally got around to wiring up my light bar and i thought I would share a few night shots of it in action.

The photos aren't the greatest and don't really do it as much justice as seeing it first hand but the difference is still visible. Overall i'm very happy with it great investment I must say.

    Thanks for looking Lachy.

Cameras don't pick up lumens which is a pity as the lightbars throw out some awesome light.
Any antennas you plan fitting to the bull ball may need to be painted black as the white one reflect too much light

What other lights are on in in each pic, just so we know what lights we are comparing, and what lights (if any) are also adding to the Light bar shot ?

Regardless, whatever light/s your running, looks great for night time off roading that's for sure

If you want to compare the difference between lights on a vehicle, you need a camera capable of manual exposure, ie to be able to lock/control shutter speed, iso, aperture all at once.

Otherwise the less bright lights will cause the camera to give a longer exposure, and the brighter lights a lesser exposure, making them look similar.

Oh sorry the left photo is standard headlights and the right photo is of a 300W 40" light bar, light force genesis driving lights and high beams.

I used to have 6 x 4" hid 35 waters on the roof and flicked them on to do a night drive on an over grown track.
I videoed it with my DVR , driving along it was like daylight, upon review of video it looked very disappointing.
If buying light bars you can get 2 different types of LEDs the Cree and an Epistar
I think , look for the cree a far superior led
