    GQ Power Steering and Steering Box

    Hi all,
    I've notice a leak from my power steering hose. My question is; is there anywhere other than Nissan I can get the hoses from in Qld and should the steering box oil be changed at the same time, and if so where is the bung on the steering box?

    Thanks

    Any hose specialist can help... I think you would need to provide a sample and they can make something up for you.. not sure about off the shelf.

    First up check the return line as its just a hose clamp fitting and can perish. If In doubt just cut 10mm off the hose end and refit it..
    Also clean it up with degreaser, and hose Off with strong water pressure. Let dry and then look for leaks..
    Cheers

    As above.

    The power steering fluid is readily available from any auto shop or servo. If you follow the hose up from the steering box you will find the steering pump mounted to the motor above the box and it will have a small reservoir there for you to directly fill at the top.
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
