Are there any excel nerds on here who know how to crack into a password protected file?

This is a legit operation, nothing dodgy I promise...lol

Well i think i have successfully reinstalled windows on my lappy. A big thanks to you Nic, your help was appreciated greatly.

All seems good and its running lightning fast again but no doubt ill have a few more questions along the way.

First question: Windows Action Centre is prompting me to go online and get an antivirus program. I was running Microsoft Security essentials and i think that was going ok for me? Should i go for that again?
I dont want one of those crappy AV programs that slow down my computer.

Yeh let it. It grabs control of the windows firewall which is normal.
