Liquid-moly engine oil resealer

G'day legends,

If anyone has any experience with using engine oil gasket resealer and can release some wisdom in regards to:

Pros,

Cons,

And in particular the liquid-moly engine oil resealer, it would be kindly appreciated.

I have the rd28eti in a 98gu, about 280k on odo.
Even though you wouldn't know it by checking the dip stik she leaves the occasional spot on the driveway. And it's a little messy on the underside (I know I make a little mess when I change the filter). Oil and filter get changed every 5k +-.

I have found that a new sump gasket is about $100 and rocker cover gasket $75!!!! And a tin of resealer is about $16-20.

Will the resealer work if the leak is only slight?

I apologise in advance if this subject has been done to death already. Please, no liquid-Molly reps.

I have no experience with any re-sealer mate. But in my opinion if it clogs up your gaskets what else is it clogging up???

Doesn't work by clogging gaskets, it works by causing them to expand.

I have used many liqui-moly products, and would highly recommend them.
I'm guessing you are referring to his one?

I also would suggest rislone products as I had used them in my old range rover (when I couldn't get liqui-moly).
