    driving light recommendations

    Hey there.

I'm in the market for a set of driving lights. They will mainly be used for highway driving. What are your thoughts

Are you ready for the flood of info?
I have IPF 900 something with eBay HID kits in them. OK but leave dark spots. Had them 8 years.
Sure there are some excellent lights available now, those light bars look the goods too but don't know how well any of the new generation lights the perform.
    Cheers

I bought a second hand set of IPF900's off eBay cheap. Spent another 80 bucks on an HID kit for them and my lights are plenty bright enough. I don't have any dark spots like Macca.
I am also going to mount an LED light bar that will give excellent short to midrange light fill.
Should have it all done for under 500 bucks......

I have exactly the same. Got 100w hid for 110 bucks off eBay and are excellent. I do a lot of country driving and night driving and have been awesome.
    Headlights are hid too.
The distance covered is amazing with the ipfs. .

I have a light bar, and the only comments that I can make are that the light output is really white and it reflects off the roadside signs badly.....other than that great in the bush.
