Never had a single issue with my local ARB. They've bent over backwards for me numerous times.
As for the profit slump? Well it was bound to happen wasn't it, with all the cheapos emerging like the Tigerz and the Roocrap. You get what you pay for.

There's still a difference in paying for a quality product and paying for a name, the way I see there prices is that they are on the higher end of the market then they throw on another % on top for the name..

The gear is good but the prices? There is definitely some huge profit grabbing going on there. I don't want to buy that cheap crap but can't afford all of theirs either. Maybe if someone can organise a lotto win for me.

I think ARB are still living in an illusion, that they own the market, hence their prices being overbalooned. Not the case any more with all the other brands out there now. Current economy doesn't help their case.

Would rather buy quality local custom made as well now, and generally I reckon it is comparable in price if not better priced. Plus there are more and more small players willing to give stuff a go. Raslarr, Millweld, Superior etc....the list is getting bigger and better.
Between Patrols ATM. Had a beaut GU with 6.5 Chev TD. Next is a GU ute with a 4.5 litre Cummins conversion and a camper on the back.

I'm pretty sure I've helped a little in the last quarter. That's for sure. Lol
