Just wanted to let you know by reading, re-reading, scrolling, re-scrolling (getting lost on the way by interesting posts) .. I have already found heaps of info. Well onto the way for the Housemate to fix his Nissan and at least I now know IT WASNT MY FAULT

Happy to say we are well on the road to DIAGNOSING the initial problem ... it wasn't me and my driving after all yay !!!
Once we found the oil cooler (how did he not know it had one ??) we found the O rings were shot .. to pieces ... am I allowed to use the F-d word lol, because that's a better description ????
Thanks again to everyone who offered advice ...
I will be back shortly to find out what to do next ...
