It is with absolute regret that I advise that I have to pull out of the meet up!!!
We were in Perth today, 4hs drive from home, and the battery light came on (in the Commodore). Being the mechanic that I am (lol), I thought it was the battery, because it's a bit old, but it turns out to be the alternator being stuffed.
ABS and battery light came on, no speedo, tacho or fuel gauge, then they would come back on, then off, then on again.
Anyway, about 3hrs later and over $500 later, I was back on the road. I didn't have time to look around
etc, etc, etc. The repair shop did the right thing and rang around and got me a good price.
Sorry guys, but I don't have the coin to attend. Spewing
