I'm happy today cuz I got 1 more Saturday to work and then I'm switching to Mon-Fri permanently

Yeah now more working weekends (as standard anyway)

Could be worse, I have done a bit of work on the gas pipelines in Qld and the workers there are 27 days on 7 off with 10 hr shifts that don't include travel from camp to work.

Yea as much as I wanted to do those 24/7`s to pay the house Off I was just to slow getting up there and kids started appearing.. Lol..
Did some 2 and 3 week swings with my previous company and I never realised how much of my 1st daughters life I missed until I had no.2..
Happy with my current shift job, I see them more on shift than I would On just days..

I have only gone up there for problem solving but would never do it full time, not to many happily married guys doing those shifts.
