    240volt inverter

    Hi Guys i want to run my elcheepo pod coffee machine from an inverter, what sort of inverter will do the job, i tried my waeco 150 watt one and its not supplying enough power to heat the element. Any help would be appreciated.

    Have a look on the sticker. It should state how many volts and either watts or amps it draws..

    You will be looking a few hundred for a quality unit to run 1600wats, just make sure the normal running watts is above the 1600 not just peaks that high

    It would probably cheaper by allot to buy a cheap little pod machine like the Aldi one with an emphasis on current draw. I am sure mine draws half that. Then buy a smaller inverter. I have read and happy to be wrong that you should aim to buy an inverter with Double the output you require. That rule would put you in the market for a 3000watt unit.

    A 3000w inverter is physically Huge!
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    1455 watts divided by 12 volts = 121.25 that is amps, You really need a coffee that bad?
    1455 watts divide by 240 volts = 6.07 amps, might be a generator job.

    Mate Rosco's the boss, I am sure a pod is a pod and a canopy is not a pod LOL

    The question was asked before and he stood firm upholding the traditions that bond the podologist brotherhood.
