    Gauges

Opinions please - are these suitable / priced right for my 2008 3ltr GU Wagon?

I'm gonna get a pillar pod thingy so don't really need the pod casing that comes with this but prices I've seen are very close without pods?

I had them first. They are CHEAP quality. The pyro didnt change colors with the button so i sent it back and he sent me the same one back saying it was another, i clearly knew it wasnt as it had the same scratch on it.

The boost gauge flickers so you will need to add a filter. I promptly bought others which were 100% better. And the pod that comes with it doesnt fit nicely behind the steering wheel at all.

Yeah I was gonna say, you get what you pay for. A fair bit dearer but an awsome gauge is the McNally gauge. Its a dual boost and digital EGR in one. I have one and its great. This boost gauge uses an electronic sensor, so theres no tubing coming into the cabin, just wires.

If your refering to my pic John it is at zero, its just the angle of the pic and the temps are in Centigrade, it reads 22.4c. If your not refering to my pic then disregard my comment.

Boost/Vacuum gauges still work as the needle will sit at 0 and go up from there

The EGT gauge redlines at 900. Your aluminium piston melts at 720. Wrong gauge for a Patrol with aluminium pistons. Also you dont need a boost gauge that also shows vacuum - its a waste of time. Get decent stuff and save yourself problems down the track.

I had the ones in the link for a short time. The boost gauge did work fine but flickered without a filter
