Hi. Just introducing myself. I have a GQ Patrol TI with petrol engine. and have had a problem with corrosion in the block which allowed water to get by the head gasket into the rear cylinder. I was getting lots of exhaust condensation and gradual loss of coolant. The block has had to be welded and re-machined. Is this common? has anybody else had this Problem?

Gday mate, welcome aboard. I don't think your problem is all that common, perhaps it was run without coolant and only water for a while? Anyway thanks for the introduction, it's just that it's in the wrong place haha! Maybe a moderator could please move it to the introductions thread:-)
