Help with wiring ARB switch to LED lightbar using supercheap wire loom

    G'day all,

As the title states 'I need some helpies'. I have the basic principle of wiring things together. What has me stumped is what lead needs to go into what port on the back of the ARB switch.

    What I have is:
LED Lightbar from eBay. (2 wires, black/red)
ARB switch from them. (5 pins at the back of the switch)
40amp wire loom from supercheap auto. (wire everywhere)

I was about to install it tonight, until I took a closer look at the back of the arb switch and found more connections than i need. The supercheap switch has 3 wires coming out of it.

Basically, what goes where please & if you have pretty pics to help me, that would be super.

I was trying to upload images, but they are tooo big, sorry

The way you can best help us help you: pics.

If you have a smartphone, it's easy.
If not, maybe set the camera to take small pics 640x480 or similar.

    Easy as mate

2 switches 3 so positive to pin 2
Pin 3 is positive to 40amp relay to power the light air Red wire
6 is the dash light illumination
    7 & 8 are both earth.

The ARB switch has 2 sides therefore 2 earths.

7 is the earth for 2&3
8 is the earth for 6

    2 switches 3
    6 is lights
    7 & 8 are earth.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Blue goes to pin 2
    White goes to pin 3
    Black goes to pin 7 & 8
Source a dash light circuit from you ashtray light or cig light or dash light and the positive side of that goes to pin 6

You need to draws up a pic with photoshop or paint and number and label the pins and make a sticky Darren. I reckon many come unstuck when they see the amount of pins on the back of ARB switches.
