I would like to thank everybody for making us Pete (despite his attempt at a landcruiser joke!) and myself feel welcome on the weekend, I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and felt comfortable spending time with you all. I would encourage all members to not be afraid to go on a members meet up. The way you backup and look after each other puts many 4x4 clubs to shame. They could learn a lot from you. thanks Gary.

P.S. How do I load video of the river crossing?

Cheers for the kind words Gary, great to meet you two as well.

The forum can't host videos only pics but you can upload them to Youtube and then paste the link here or press this button and paste the Youtube link in there and it will embed the video into the forum.

If you don't use Youtube just email it to me mate and I will upload it for you. info@nissanpatrol.com.au

Thanks Gary, was great to meet you and Pete too. And Matthew as well, all great guys and look forward to seeing you guys on the next trip too. Nothing worse than a new guy coming along and being very shy but you guys all got yourselves involved in the conversation well, was like we had all known each other a lot longer than a couple of days!

It was a short time meeting you Gary, thank you for offering the slave cylinder for my clutch too. Yes they're all great people, fun time we had. Just spewing about leaving early. My clutch pedal went foobar, had this terrible grinding, rotational noise coming from under the hood aswell. Thought it was the idler bearing as it was dry as when I removed it. Fixed that, still have the noise. Sounds like the bearings in the a/c pump as I spun that as it felt like that might be where its coming from, plus the pulley feels a little loose, spray some crc in it and now the sound is gone. Hopefully it will hold up until I get a new pump, or if I can fix this pump???
    Now back to work. Ugh!

You can replace the bearing behind the clutch on the a/c pump, you will need a puller to remove the clutch plate though

Had another great weekend with you lot! I now have an Army of Vic guys that will stand proof of the GQs existence. I even got a pic of Winnie drawling over it on the Helipad

Thanks for another quality meetup. No bullsh1t around the fire, no Cliquey crap in camp or on the tracks. Already better than a club I have been a member of for many years.

Zach is made to feel welcome by everyone and its just great to go driving.

    Cheers guys

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
