Would have thought in the name of "sportsmanship" that either the keeper or bowler would have called the batsman back, The keeper for sure.

Can`t comment as I have not seen the decision. But there have already been some dreadful decisions this series, Broads for example, I hope there are not too many more.

Just saw root getting out to a fine edge and he started walking before the umpire gave his decision.
That is good sportsmanship, he knew he was out and made it easy for the umpire, if only all would do the same.
I know a lot of people say you should not walk but I still recon that is bullshit, keep it a gentleman's sport and make it easy for the umpires.
What is wrong with these umpires, Bresnen was no ware near out and given out, there was lots of daylight between his bat and the ball.
And he did not ask for review, guess he thought his wicket was not wasting a review for as he would have known he did not hit it.
As I said previously, these umpires are incompetent towards both sides.
Mate, these umpires are ruining this series. You should hear Boycott giving them hell on Test Match Special, but he is right, they are bloody useless. Your chap given out on 1 and Bresnan given out today, bloody shambles.
