    K&N Air Filter Question.

    Hi all!

What is the best way to clean these air filters? Compressed air? Or is there some sort of solution I can rinse it in?

    Advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

Don't use a compressor, buy a k+n cleaning kit to clean it.

I bought a K&N cleaning kit designed for their own filters. It should last about 20 cleans. All the instructions come with the kit. DO NOT use compressed air....

The k & n cleaning stuff is degreaser. Exact same stuff as the Chemtech CT14. I have both here and in a clear cup they both look the same and smell the same. At what strength the K & N cleaner is I don't know. Didn't bother with tasting it though...

Had mine in for around two months and the MAF is still clean as a whistle. I wasn't gonna get one but I got it for free so I ain't complaining. And I got MAFs coming out my RRR's here too...
