Here is another that is very well priced. With the blanket on the back seat I reckon this was owned by an old couple that did a lap and had a little lap dog that spent a bit of time on the back seat.

Looks pretty clean and a very good price

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Yeah it's interesting Mat, Cuppa has an 06 TD42Ti and his is still a GUIII shape but is classed as a GUIV.

In the wagons it is certainly distinguished with the shape change.

I think the most important thing though is that Amelia understand that there may well be some cross over in timing with the GUIV and the GUIII. Understand what she really wants and negotiate down if its a GUIII.

If she is keen on a GUIV then she gets the updated interior, larger cabin, 17"rims, current shape and better resale down the track. Not sure when the CRD was added to the range but if she is on the cusp then chase a CRD for sure!

WTF !!! I couldn't find the actual 'facts' of dates ect but looked at pictures of the interiors ... the 2004 GU IV pictured on Redbook has a completely different centre console ... the 2004 GUIII pictured on redbook has the same centre console as the one I'm looking at. End of day I really don't care about resale value, as with Frank, I have no plans to sell and will be putting 16" wheels on it. BUT bugger me I can't believe the VIN checks are showing it as a GU IV when I tend to agree with my 'expert panel' that it's a GU III ..

Nissan will be getting a call from me tomorrow to "please explain" ... the guy who owns it will NOT be happy about that fact either I would imagine.

ETA : soooooooooooooooooo could it be they changed the shape in 2004 but used up the last of the GUIII shapes etc. but badged them GUIV?? Will be interesting to see this guys full compliance plate

Depends on your payout figure, and how much you want to spend, but I would be looking at a Common Rail version if you can....
