The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.

Last winter I camped in the car at sub zero temps in the high country and left the window up.....Pretty much rained inside my car with condensation....Next night I cracked the window next to me and froze my a$$ off but no condensation....Last night on the trip I cracked the front passenger window and it worked a treat...lol

That was a bloody cold night though!!!!

I might just car it up for the bed I think, I could also hug my fridge for warmth!

Definitely get everybody to bring a big bag of fire wood (will keep the nudie runners warm!!!). I also have put a second thermo rest mattress under my swag.
If we don't have any tin we can unbolt George's Bonnet while he Sleeps in his farkn car and top down in the snow and light the fire on that!! Hell yeah that'd work! Thanks George!! Your a champ!!

My bonnet would be no good as it has a big arse Bonnet Scoop and that would not work in the snow

It could also be good to put potatoes in foil underneath too. Or even Jiffy fire lighters to get the fire going again in the morning.

    Marshmallows, etc.....lol
