This trip, would a stocky with road tyres get through?
My advice is: not to follow my advice.
wrangler 31x10.5 15s, with plenty of tread. 27-28 July, is that the end of the school holidays in S.A.?

If we go little desert then muddies ate suggested, but I've done it 3 times now on wrangler ATR's.. haven't needed a pull yet

I was out in little dessert on the weekend, a detour for a BBQ lunch with my kids on the way back from footy and netball at Kaniva, we did the Mt Moffatt track down to where it meets eat west track then continued along the border track to the bottom. I have Bridgestone discoverer AT's the with 60-70% tread and had no real issues, I was being a little cautious however being by myself and having a daughter who is a bit paranoid about getting bogged and off road driving in general and not wanting to completely turn her off it some of the ruts I looked at were pretty bloody deep with probably the worst spot being the entrance in the sw corner, I went along to the next spot to the east to get out which was fine. If we keep getting rain some of the tracks could be a bit of a different story in another month or 2 but shouldn't be too bad with a group
I would most likely be keen :-D

Those dates I'm sure to have the 80. But I found out tonight it'll probably be a no, as the 80's child restraints have been covered by the draw system..
So unless the magical maintenance fairies come and help smash out the gq it'll probably be a no show from me..
