Ok, so with it possible to improve performance/fuel consumption with very conservative 'tweaks' & no adverse side effects why didn't Nissan do it as standard? I understand that manufacturers often produce vehicles with, for example, less than optimal airflow as a result of mass production techniques, but if a larger diameter exhaust were standard (minimal extra cost) & the boost set a bit higher (no extra cost) why wouldn't they do it?

Because they're made to a price with emissions in mind

So a larger exhaust & increased boost = increased emissions?

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

No increasing fuel with the boost will increase emissions.

How could I possibly forget the stickers, I did see the stickers in another thread so thought I would need to make a mention of them here............. after all, the thread is all about the new wheels
