04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
Ok, so with it possible to improve performance/fuel consumption with very conservative 'tweaks' & no adverse side effects why didn't Nissan do it as standard? I understand that manufacturers often produce vehicles with, for example, less than optimal airflow as a result of mass production techniques, but if a larger diameter exhaust were standard (minimal extra cost) & the boost set a bit higher (no extra cost) why wouldn't they do it?
