    Wow that spring should definitely not be touching that shock casing?? Strange. I don't think a panard would solve that. Have you got a pic from further away? Regardless your going to Get a warranty on it as you should.

    Glad you chasing another car Healy, cut your losses mate. A lesson learned I'm sure.

    I recommend that that car has no business in the bush in 4wd in that condition mate, sorry bud. Really really FARKED!!
    Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!! ....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!

    The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    On another look at the pics, it may be just that the Spring lift is too much for the standard control arms.

    My brother in Laws was doing the same with 5" lift on standard arms.

    This happens on the larger lifts due the diff rolling as it is pushed down. It shouldn't happen on a 2" lift. I think this car has had it and the right decision has been made.

    Keep this one though Healy. We all know the drive train is spot on .
