yeah can't wait to get mine done but obviously need the mulla first. Also can't decide whether to go with the 2 inch or 3 in, I know I've seen it in here somewhere but can't remember If anything else is needed for a 3in lift, e.g. longer brake lines etc. I'll have to have another hunt for it later
I'm not sure about the gq's, but I have done springs, shocks, front bump stop extensions, longer rear brake line and the old rear moved to front, steering dampner and caster.. only extra thing I gotta do now is draglink to center steering wheel.. I think gq is the same but needs slightly longer lower arms as well
Feel free to correct me though guys

Looks great mate - nice ride height too.
Looking good Fletcha, makes a huge difference!
Looks good big fella looking foreward to seeing it in the flesh
Hey Fletch, that looks very tidy. Love the new lift mate. the 3" looks much better than 2" i reckon, they just sit that little bit higher and look like a lift.
looks great mate.
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!
Check out my Toy --> MudRunnerTD's GQ From the Ground Up
The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

Congrats Fletcha.. looks hell tough now mate.
Stick with the 33's in my opinion. Once I wear out my 35's I think I'll buy a good set of 33" muddies.
buuuutttt.....the 35's do look awesome. lol.
Ok, buy some 35's now![]()
