IMO not a fan of the cheap snorkles, they are to stop water from entering your motor.
Quick Phyics lesson, what can't you compress, the answer water, so half a cup will blow your motor to bits.
Like most its tempting looking at the price ,but save for 2-3 more weeks and buy a brand name . It could save you $$$$$
    down the road
The templates on the cheaper ones are sometimes not to scale. the prifile sometimes doesnt match the vehicle as well.

Personally I don't see any major issues with the cheapies. I got mine for $75, and have been pretty happy with it thus far. From the beginning I knew it was just a copy, but it hasn't let me down, end of the day, it's a piece of plastic pipe. It does exactly what I want it to do, lift up my air intake. I am not sure about how water tight it is, but it's plenty good enough for what I want. I won't be doing any major water crossings, and if I was, I can easily take it apart again and glue the joins. Admitadly it doesn't fit quite right, but that's because the panel was/is damaged anyway. In my opinion, mine only, it's up to you mate, have a think about what you want to use it for, and what you are expecting from it.

The good and ugly of it all. I'd stick with a brand name for long term keeps!

Good plan mate. The UV will destroy the poor quality plastic!

I just went through this, lots of research. Settled on a Safari.

Mostly as I heard / read that the cheaper brands have inferior plastics and the templates are crap.

Not 100% sure on the info Ive seen and read but it was enough to sway my decision.
