I think Bunnings or mitre 10 should stock the 1/2" ones mate pretty sure they do actually but the cone in packs of 2 and black steel not zinc. If that bolt is still no good mate i suggest you take the whole bar to a bolt shop and get them to measure it.

Lol yeah i went to mitre10 but i wasnt looking for the 1/2 unc so they may have those. Closest bunnings is an hour and a half away. Do ya reckon zinc is better than the black steel?

Haha yeah true. I've spent the money on six bolts now and they told me I could swap them so I'll just do that. I've got to be close now!
