Its around 1800km but if you drive like me you can do it in 18hrs with 7hrs sleep and fuel stops every 400km ......

I was driving a td42 auto GQ so GQ hands down.

Considering these times are for non stop traveling, i think my GU and i did alright!!

Yeah you did "alright" we were only pulling fuel stops every 600 though .

I didn't realise that it's the best part of 1700 km, thought it was a bit more.If I play my cards right My GQ won't even need to stop for fuel.

It was a bit over 1800 from Moorooka to Thomastown, Diesel helps a bit. I only stopped every 400 coz i had the mrs with me, my radio turned on but sound didn't come out and the cruise control packed up so it was more for sanity and not for necessity!

It's not the diesel that helps, it's the 220L of fuel I can carry without jerry cans.
