    For my td42 the Injection pump and turbo install, HELP... !!!!

    Hi.!

    Because there are problems while driving up to the hills... I want to instoll my car Turbo.
    But ; I also want to change the Injection pump.
    I found a TD42T ınjection pump. And... I ordered HT18 +manifold.

    I would like to hear your opinion on this subject.

    Is it 2nd hand? what was the pump you took of it? why you changing the pump for? Better off buying like a service exchange and getting them to add a boost compensator onto it. Being your from Turkey according to you location, id have no idea on costs over there.

    Yes it 2nd hand. Belonging to a pump td42t..... I think it will be more efficient with this pump.. :/ Came with the pump manifold and turbo .But it was cracked manifold and turbo . Poor service in Turkey...

    That pump is a smaller plunger pump. Yes it's compensated but the 10 on the pump number indicates it has a 10mm plunger. I think the 10mm ones were on the very early turbo motors. The later 11 mm pump would be the go if you can get your hands on one. There won't be a huge amount of difference in economy between a compensated and non compensated 10mm. The compensated pump however will give you better tuneability and some finer adjustments.

    A- is the compensator
    B- fuel shut off solenoid
    C- throttle position sensor

    That one looks different to a TD42 pump ever so slightly. Is there a chance it has come off a RD28t motor?
