Get your radius arm bushes checked. These are the most common culprit. Also rotate your tyres.

Don't forget to head over to the intro section and introduce yourself. You will get a warm welcome.

My patrol had a vibration at 80km and was ok at 100-110 km. I just balanced the front wheels today and it fixed the problem. Also check for a crook tyre bubble or out of round tyre. You will have to jack up the patrol and free spin the wheel to check it spinning evenly. Even nowdays I still see good brand tyres with faults. It may not neccessarily be a serious problem with radius arm bushes. Also pressure wash out any mud that may be stuck around the inside of the rims throwing out the balance.

    How old are your tyres?

We tried lots of things and in the end it was a set of tyres 80% worn that were giving the problem. Changed them over and it was good as new

Can also be loose or worn wheel or king bearings.

For king bearings (swival) hold the tyre at 6 & 12 and push back wards and forwards - any moement? -

For wheel bearings hold the tyre at 3 & 9 and pucsh backswards and forards any movement - comapre it to the otther side.

My brand new car did that.....it is like it just sits in a floating cup, which seems a little odd to me.
