    Quick GQ lift question

G'day everyone I know this subject has been done to death but I couldn't find exactly what i was looking for!

My patrol currently has a 2" suspension lift with 33 tyres, looking at adding another 2 inches possibly with coil spacers, so my question is what modifications will I have to do for an extra 2 inch lift with spacers on a GQ that already has a 2" suspension lift?

    Cheers!

I guess you'll need some steering correction doing and extended brake lines and breathers at least.
Why not put 2" body spacers in instead, much cheaper and no faffing with brakes and steering and breathers etc.

2" body lift, 2" pedders suspension lift, 35" Simex muds on excel 16" alloys, needs a turbo :/

At a minimum to raise your car from 2 to 4 in lift (using coil spacers) you will need longer shocks, adjustable panhard rods, extended brake lines, extended brake bias bracket and some kind of caster correction, either correction plates, drop boxes or drop arms. In my opinion by the time you go to the effort, you are best to replace the springs too.

You should also consider extended sway bar links, an adjustable drag link and adjustable upper control arms.

Just doing this myself my costings were very high because I didn't wanna do it wrong and had specific parts in mind I got the following

    -Braided brake lines
    -brake bias bracket
    -new coils
    -new shocks
    -both panhards
    -draglink
    -rear lower control arms
    -new front radius arms

Thanks for the replies, I stuffed up though I meant to say BODY lift not SUSPENSION lift, its currently only got a 2" body lift. So would my best bet be going a full 2" suspension lift as opposed to coil spacers? What mods would i need to do to put a 2" suspension lift in my GQ then? (considering it already has 2 inch body lift).

sorry for the stuff around im new to the patrol world!

    cheers

2" suspension is straight springs and shock. No need for anything else

I'd do some offset rubbercaster bushes in the radius arms too though
