Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward.
Whoever cannot take care of themselves without that law is both.
For a wounded man shall say to his assailant,
'If I live, I will kill you. If I die, You are forgiven.'
Such is the rule of honour.

A woodland in full color is awesome as a forest fire, in magnitude at least, but a single tree is like a dancing tongue of flame to warm the heart.

[QUOTE=GU CAMPER;356995]Going to the Finke Desert Race on the way to the meet up is a great idea
I will definitely try and get extra time off work to check it out
Never been there but have always wanted to go
Will have to see if there are any other takers and we can fill in the time doing some smaller trips around Alice as I was born and bred there so know the local land holders.See what happens.
U have 4 choices in life :U can like it; lump it; love it or shove it, take your pick and stick to it !
hi,
can u tell me is this family oriented trip and how much cash we looking at
Yes, definitely family orientated, the actual crossing will be anywhere between 400 and 700 km totally dependant on what is organised later down the track (higher fuel economy than normal)and obviously the cost of getting to the star point and back home from the end) you could work the distances out....there are heaps of info online about average fuel economies for the crossing. (We are coming from Perth and taking 3 weeks to get there do the crossing and get home).will be a trip you would never forget.
