    You're right there Rusty! Although we read heaps about the many places we hoped to see in the years leading up to our trip, & everyone said that Karijini was a 'must see', I deliberately remained ignorant about it, wanting to keep it as a 'surprise'. I didn't even know it was all about gorges until we got there. We walked most of the gorges rather than just looking down at them from lookouts, & each one was great, all different. The scenery around the Pilbara is also fantastic, such colours & shapes. Another highlight was seeing a large male dingo up real close ....... Shame we didn't get that shoe of mine back that he took from under our awning.

    Seems there are no further guesses which Karijini gorge it was.
    The gorge was Knox Gorge.

    Are we guessing where krbrooking's pics are? Doesn't seem much to go on, but I'll try the Horizontal Waterfall in the Buccaneer archipelago, off the Kimberley coast?
