    Don't be shy... speak up

It's fantastic that more and more people are having their say.

I would encourage everbody to 'have a chat'.

Our regular forum contributors, including me, are Forum Junkies - we can't help ourselves. lol
We're addicted, it's 'in our blood'. We're not here trying to hog the forum - we have a passion.

The forum is made up of people, and peoples' contributions. Your input makes this forum what it is today.

Me personally: I know squat about engines, suspension, headlights and nuts, bolts and screws and am mainly here to socialise - but I love it. I help with the little knowledge I have, when I can.

So, join the bandwagon, don't be scared or shy and enjoy the ride! lolol

Coming home at the end of the day to 4-5 pages of threads for that day is encouraging. Keep up the great work.

And remember, make this addictive forum part of your life, not your whole life. It'll still be there when you come back online! lol

    Take care out there.

Top post Rossco .. Me on the other hand, I know all about engines, nuts and bolts and the like hence my contribution is invaluable for people wanting to learn .... Hang on ... Now I remember .... That's actually Tony .... I'm more like the village idiot as it turns out!!!

Phew, nearly forgot my place there didn't I? LOL

As per Ross' comments, it's not just a place for techo's, and not just a 'chat room' as such - it's just a bunch of easy going people having a laugh whilst learning a truckload off others - and not necessarily about 4WD's either - heaps of stuff on here about vast and varied topics, so please do get amongst it and enjoy everything the forum has to offer!!

    Bigrig,

Its the members much like yourself that makes this forum the friendly lay back sociable place to be that it is mate & given this forum the atmosphere that seems to attract so many new members on a constant & ongoing basis.

A NOTE TO ALL THAT READ THIS

Only a very small percentage of the members here new each other before coming to this forum & most of us have still never met face to face & yet many friendships have been made here.

So as Ross said don't be shy & feel free to join in, thats all any of us have done to become part of this forum & thats about all you need to do too.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

    Well said Rossco.
This quote sounds like me.........lol, I know jack!!
I started on this forum to ask 1 question and got told off by a big bad dog for not introducing myself, Woof Woof he wasnt so bad after all. And guess what, 630+ posts later I'm still here dribling my way through all this confusion.......lol and why ??
Because they are a great bunch of people to dribble with and laugh with and you even get attached to their personal problems and feel for what each of them are going through. They're pretty much an extended part of the family when you take the time to get to know them.
ie; young Toddsta, well im guessing he's young, never met the bloke but would love to have a drink and a laugh with him.
He lives in NSW and I in SA, yet he has taken the time to help me out with comp' prog' and tech stuff that i would of had trubs with on my own.
Thats the sort of guys / gals on this forum that make it so good.
So as Rossco says dont be shy, you can form some great bonds with the people around this great land, and os.
And guess what I am a Guru and I know jack.

Enjoy it for what it has to offer, you will be suprised.

    Cheers Pete

I must admit that this is indeed the most friendly forum in which i members.

In other forums (referred to these in BG) missing the friendly atmosphere, or in most cases is reached only after a year or two present in the forum. Older members of the forums are quite reticent about new members and in some cases are quite cold. They are hard responding to questions and in some cases even get stuck for no reason.

In this forum there is no such thing. You people are open to new members, are ready to help to anyone, so that create the good friendly atmosphere in the forum.

    Keep it that way.

    excuse my english
