How to connect three auto LPG tanks

Hi Guys,
I have a Nissan Patrol with two LPG tanks.
Two tanks are connected with a hydrostatic tee valve the usual safe way it's suppose to be. This is the one used in mine.

I am wondering whether I can connect a third tank.
How do I do that?!
Is there an X type hydrostatic valve to use for that?
Any advice/suggestions appreciated.

Hey mate. Had the same situation. But its a simple fix. All you need is a secound hydro T valve in the supply side of the current hydro valve.

What model is your patrol?
How are the tanks setup? all inside or outside? What sizes are they?
Did you do the connecting hoses urself or did u get a LPG guy to do it?
Did you need to re-tune the converter after adding the third tank?

i have a 93 GQ ute, running 2 tanks under tray and one on top, tank sizes are 60L, 90L, 200L(recently removed top 200L tank) had the gas line plumbed by a specialist (just for safety) and i have wired up the solenoids on the tanks so i can chose what tank is being drawn from(with individual guages aswell). so i did a quick diagram in paint to help explain, (its a bit dodgie but get the picture :P ) as the hydro valves control the pressures coming through them you dont need to adjust converter,

think that covers it, but if not ask away.

Thanks mate. Very useful diagram indeed. I'm just wondering whether it's possible to do this without using another T hydro valve. I mean using a some sort of T connector instead of T hydro valve between 2nd and 3rd tank and wire the safety solenoids on the third tank to turn it on and off at will.
I'm hoping to use the third tank more as a reserve, so I can only turn it on when necessary.

Does that make any sense?

yeah i understand what ya mean, ide assume it would be possible and harmless if tanks are switched correctly. but not sure of legality of it, due to the potential of a hazard if incorrectly switched over. personally i probably wouldn't risk it over $80, too much can go wrong with gas, all it takes is for a solenoid to fail and your in a word of trouble.

thanks mate. I didn't think it was any cheaper than using a hydro valve.
I rather meant to use the third tank as a reserve one.
Can I use the second T hydro valve between 2nd and 3rd tank, and still wire the solenoids to turn the the third tank on/off?!
So, I have a choice of using the third tank as a reserve one, rather than using all three tanks as a one large single tank?!
Do you think that setup is ok safety wise?

Yeah mate. That's how I have it. I've actually got mine all individually switched, so I can choose exactly what tank to draw from.
