Ouch... The Mojomobile is Hurt... looking for advice

    Heya Peoples..

Its been a while since i posted anything re my GQ as real life and some traveling has had me away from the PC and home..

on a recent trip I hit a hidden stump in some deep sand with the left front ( YES IT HIT HARD ) the image below is the aftermath

I am looking at now replacing the Radius Arms as both are now totally rooted..
money aint an issue, I just want quality. I already have a 2.5 inch ( GU ) lift without caster bushes, but now as the arms are stuffed I may as well part with the coin and get new ones.. question is which ones ??

The only 2 I know of are the Snake Racing ones

    http://snakeracing.com.au/store/patr...e2b68630474177

and the Superior Engineering SUPERFLEX ones

    http://www.superiorengineering.com.a...oducts_id=2945

$50 difference is SFA so does any one have either of these installed ??

If so I would like to know your thoughts..

or any other options or brands that are around, $$$$ aint an issue I just want to do it right

I looked at getting the ones shown on Simon Christies show, they put them on a Cruiser but I just can't justify spending $1200 on a set of arms, the original ones have served a damned long time, personally I'd replace them with genuine ones and spend the money on something else.

You could get a stock and the single super-flex from superior for 650$ from memory or 1200 for a pair but you only need one as the right one is fixed just another option but if it were me I'd go superflex from superior

I looked around at the wreckers, before I started looking for aftermarket ones, for a set that are not stuffed I am up for around the $400 mark, the bushes are around $300 bucks for a full set. so the extra coin I can justify if they give some improvement.( since mine are stuffed that wont be hard) I was only doing 30kph when I did that damage, it totaled a steel rim, split my 33" MTZ, not to mention just about broke both my wrists when the wheel spun 180 deg to the left in a split second. With a Canning Stock Route trip on the cards this year , I want it to be 100% before I head off

Ouch... The Mojomobile is Hurt... looking for advice

Are the arms bent, or just the mounts on the axle housing??

I don't see how the snake racing are "superflex" they both look solid like a standard drop radius arm from superior you should be comparing snake with these ones

The superflex arms from superior are a diffrent ball game and one I'd like to play

Yeah the ones I saw were super flex. I didn't realize the stock ones were so dear, if that's the case, it's probably not a bad idea. I'd spray them black though, in case you get some over zealous copper decide to throw a canary on you for them.

is there anything else bent? it must have been a big hit.

I have superflex arms and they are a great bit of gear.

Im with Ben-e and bigrig. It looks as though the diff mount is slight bent and the arm can twist around in the chassis mount. If the arm isnt bent you could straighten the mounts and throw some new bushes at it.
