Cuppa (11th March 2013)
I havent had a real good run outa them in the past. Others have. Ive gone for Mickey Thompson this time round (come from the same factory as coopers) whicever you choose get 5 and rotate regularly for maximum longeviety
IF YA DONT GET STUCK YA AINT TRYIN HARD ENOUGH........OR YA TOOK THE CHICKEN TRACK![]()
WARNING: TOWBALLS USED WITH SNATCHSTRAPS DO KILL!!
After having a Cooper AT delamenate the full length of tread off the car use at 100k/h while towing my camper with the family in the car and then have Cooper reject the warranty claim and offer me a hat as good will I will NEVER spend money on Cooper Tyres Again!
Go to the 5 rib Mickey Ts mate
Its a Nissan! =====> Its a Keeper!! ....... Got a TD42 in it BONUS!!....... I'm a lucky bugger! I've got 2 of em!
Check out my Toy --> MudRunnerTD's GQ From the Ground Up
The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
WARNING: Towballs used for recoveries can, and do kill people and damage property.
Try the MAXXIS BIGHORNS mate, chick pullers!!!

I'll back Mudrunner stay clear of Coopers if thats their attitude, Mickey thomson do a great 4 rib A/T
I have Mickey T 305 MTZ and love em. but for HWY only I have cooper ATR's {last time}
Love your work Ferret lol
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
LOL mate, I will have to think about the MAXXIS BIGHORNS as well then if they work that well, although don't really know what the wife would say
Had STs and SSTs, would never use them again, currently running Federal Couragia Mud Terrain 35" on 15" rims, bit noisy on the black stuff but great off road...............having said that, everyone has their own opinion regarding tyres, some good some bad.
I just decided to try something different for a change, was running BFG M/Ts but found them too expensive to replace.
Sorry mate, had to, it had LC wheels lol.
A set of Big horns, an Engel, and three good look'n chicks, what else is there??
Cheers, the ferret.
