My truck is also driven every day. There are no issues whatsoever with Mark's 4WD portal diffs. The vehicle is fully road legal and engineered. Speed is also not a problem. I have read elsewhere that early Unimog diffs. ( and Maybe Volvo 303s as well) overheated on long runs. My portals get no hotter than any other part of the axle assembly.
